I’ve appealed over and over and I keep getting this response:Īs we informed you earlier, we have closed this account. Nevertheless, I only order online now if I know I’ll be home that day to accept delivery. There have been some cases where if it’s like a large purchases that are over a certain amount then they would need a signature required but those wouldn’t be everyday purchases for the average Amazon shopper. Amazon on the other hand would leave it regardless. I’d also like to add Amazon deliveries are not like FEDEX and UPS where they’ll try again if no one is home to receive or there is no place safe to leave the package. Also, if I remember correctly there wasn’t real time tracking like there is now. F.e the site wouldn’t say it’s been delivered right after it’s been delivered if I recall correctly. This was probably back early 2017 where delivery and online updates through the site were never toe to toe. So I’d have to ask for a refund because the packages that were left out were stolen easily. This was before they had to takes pictures of delivery like they do now Yes I’ve witness them many times in action. The issue was that lot of times Amazon Prime delivery drivers would deliver the package and not ring the doorbell despite me adding a special note in Amazon’s delivery request “Ring doorbell when delivered package I’ll be home” yet they still don’t so they’d deliver the package at the door and just dip. They were just questioning the situation. Customer service sent me a message regarding refunds and lost packages as a warning. We have reviewed your account and purchasing history and we have decided to reactivate your account. Just pretty pissed about this overall because I’ve spent a lot of money on Amazon.Īmazon reinstated me but as suggested I will start to use new places as well like Walmart. Most of the other lost packages were years ago when I was back here as I got back recently, but if something doesn’t get to me what am I supposed to? Usually the price is like $20-50 minus that one big item in Sept.Īdditionally, if I were log on from my phone into my girlfriends account, would that do anything to hers? Just want to make sure I don’t mess up her account if it’s device linked. I even filed a Police report per their request. Has anyone had any luck with appealing this? Just yesterday I ordered a back rest ($40) for my computer chair and it got delivered to random and in September I got an AC that was deemed lost by UPS that was about $400. I 100% find it reasonable to at least warn me of this but oh well. Whether the driver leaves it outside or sends photo of it at another building, the list goes on. I plan to appeal this decision since back to living in NYC, there have some packages just never make it.
